5920-01-661-5123 A resistive component with a temperature coefficient which keeps a positive value. It is designed to provide an overload protection to an electric/electronic circuit. In case of an overload it reduces the current flow to a small residual value which switches the circuit off as the internal conductive paths of the component are interrupted by means of heat. The process is reversible so that the original condition is restored after cooling or interruption of the current flow. Exludes RESISTOR, THERMAL.
